Time to turn over a new leaf, which means Girgs needs to go. Maybe a fresh start would help him, but he's not gonna do anything good here. He brings Eichel down when he plays there, and when he plays without Eichel and ROR, he can't score at all. If you can get a 3rd or 4th, awesome, or maybe he can be a piece used to move Bogo.

I don't need to watch him spin and fall anymore

And back to Dahlin

Imagine having a defenseman that you can put in with the names of Niedermayer and Lidstrom

I wouldn't be surprised to see both gus and bogo back next season...gus because he can play a bottom-six, energy role with some pk and bogo because of his contract and injury history

No one will take Bogo without trading assests with him. He is our trash.

I'm resigned to Bogo returning. Girgs being back wouldn't surprise me, but I think it's a mistake. Can't skate, can't shoot, can't pass, doesn't hit (when he does hit, he usually misses, spins and falls), doesn't fight (granted, no one does anymore).

The only positive I have is that he's decent defensively. Should be easy to replace

he can skate north/south...he works the corners really well and has a good stick to get and/or keep the puck...he's also been a net-front presence for Housley...

I think the guy you were thinking about was Jordan nolan

We could probably get rid of Bogo in a package deal with ROR and taking back someone else's trash but I am 95% sure Bogo will be on this team next year.

As for Girgensons he has completely regressed from when Nolan was the coach but Girgensons is the least of our worries. He is a fine 4th line player. Also he can play wing and center which is an asset. He can also jump up to the 1st and 2nd line and hold his own but is a short term solution for that position

I haven't seen that since Ted Nolan. To me, he's basically regressed to Adam Mair status.

Girgensosn is a nothing player, doesn't matter if he's here or not. Keep him in the bottom and see what happens. I'm sure nothing will.

Am I the only one who actually does not mind BOGO when he is healthy? I know that he is hurt a lot, but really when he plays I don't mind his game at all.

Gus needs a change of scenery... I love him, but he will do nothing on this team...
